Who or what removes the pits
From olives in an olive jar?
And who or what pimentos fits
Where the pits no longer are?
Who or what puts liquor filling
In chocolate balls or candy centers?
And who or what prevents it spilling
From the holes where the liquor enters?
Who or what arranges sardines
Close and straight when they are canned?
Is it done by programmed machines
Or is it done by human hand?
Is there an answer? Perhaps there's none
For who or what or how or where.
But it's good to know those things are done
And since they are, why should I care?
